At Rainbow Blinds Preston we specialise in bringing beautifully made and perfectly fitting window coverings to homes, offices and shops across Preston and the surrounding area. Established in 1999, we combine decades of industry experience with a family-run ethos to deliver quality, care and craftsmanship. We operate from Walton-le-Dale (Preston PR5 4NB) and manufacture around 80 % of our blinds in-house so that we can maintain tight control over quality and lead times.
We understand that selecting the right blind or shutter is not simply a matter of shade or style but of function, durability and fit. That is why we offer a full service from initial consultation through measuring, manufacture and installation. Our aim is always to deliver a stress-free experience and a finish that enhances your space.
Our Range of Blinds and Shutters
Rainbow Blinds Preston provides a wide variety of window covering options so that customers can find the solution that best suits their needs in terms of light control, thermal performance, privacy and design. Our range includes roller blinds (with blackout and performance fabric options), vertical blinds, faux wood Venetian blinds, honeycomb cellular blinds, Roman blinds, vision roller blinds, motorised blinds, perfect fit blinds and plantation shutters.
Roller blinds are available in a wide selection of fabrics including blackout, dim-out and moisture-resistant materials — ideal for bedrooms, kitchens or bathrooms. We also offer a fast track service for certain blinds allowing quicker turnaround times. Vertical blinds remain a popular option for larger windows and sliding doors, and our Allusion blinds (with a five-year guaranteed vertical track system) offer a refined, graceful motion. Honeycomb cellular blinds are promoted as a thermally efficient choice, trapping air in their cellular structure to help reduce heat loss in winter and heat gain during summer. Plantation shutters offer a classic, timeless look and strong durability. For convenience and modern living we also provide motorised blinds, which allow remote or smart control.
How Our Blinds Service Works
We streamline the process into a simple, customer-focused workflow to ensure clarity and satisfaction from start to finish. Our process is:
-
Free consultation and quote – we visit your premises (or you visit our showroom) to discuss needs, styles, fabrics and budgets
-
Precise measurement – we measure each window carefully to ensure a perfect fit
-
Manufacture in-house / selection – we produce many blinds in our workshop or source components for special finishes
-
Professional installation – our qualified team installs the blinds or shutters, ensuring smooth operation and aesthetic alignment
Because we control much of the production in-house and take care of all stages ourselves, you benefit from consistency in quality, better attention to detail and the ability to customise aspects such as fabric, finishes and controls.
